pindxb Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Could be this. But then its his personal life.. No need to link it to his fitness problems :) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7shvHbFUC_/
vvvslaxman Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Hope we find a solid all rounder. SO good that this Pandya should worry about his spot. At this point we have half cooked all rounders like Shankar, Dubey. Chahar and Thakur can bat a bit.

Every players knows that u cant straight away come in cricket n start performing specially someone who bowls fast. To be successful u need rhythm which only comes by playing Sometimes we talk about injury as if a player decides when he wants to get injured and when he wants to get healed Some cricketers are naturally fit. Kapil Dev bowled so much in 60 odd consecutive tests then missed one test and again 60 odd consecutive tests. Sobers too was fit for most part of his career inspire of taking the all rounders workload. Jadeja dives so much on field yet we never see him get injured. Maxwell too. Some cricketers are very athletic and survive what a lot of cricketers can only dream off.

Khota Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Pandya is a gifted athlete and hate to see him hurt. He needs to understand the limitations of human body and needs to focus on one speciality.
vvvslaxman Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Pandya's bowling action is a screwed up action. He just collapses at the point of delivery. Also while batting he arches back too much to get the elevation. He is likely to pick up more injuries. cowboysfan 1

Now, at least for players who participate in all 3 formats- it seems like they are playing all year.

Lannister Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 He cannot be in the Test squad. Haven't we already learned by it? He was one of the reasons we lost in SA and Eng. His batting or bowling, taking individually, is not upto the Test standards and most importantly, disrupts the team balance.

Bowlers who strive to bowl quick or bowl over 140 or more are highly susceptible to get back fractures. Don't think Kapil Dev bowled 140 plus. zen and Ironhide 2

R!TTER Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 You know what they did, no need to go down that rabbit hole with the same BS again! Pandya is not good enough as of now to be in tests, whether his fans believe it or not!

Vihari was new to the team, give him time he will be a much better batsman than Pandya.
