High intensity series decider gets over at around 10 P.M IST on the 19th. An away SENA tour of 2+ months is scheduled to start in 3 days time.  

17 Hrs flight to NZ (add travelling to/from the stadium <-> hotel<->airports ). Even if they take the next flight early morning the next day, they have about 80 Hrs till the next game. Plus add the 7.5 Hrs time difference for the players.

approx 70 hours to get over jet lag. 70 hours to get used to the conditions. No practice games scheduled.

I have created a thread few days ago about BCCI being extremely greedy. There was no need for that short Australia series prior to an all important away series. Players aren't machines and to play a game with a day gap after 17 hours flight is insane. It appears to me that Virat has lost some of his bargaining powers after world cup. Though he looked extremely unhappy with the scheduling during his press conference but a pre world cup Virat was much more vocal about this scheduling thing. If we lose these T20 series, people will blame players but fault actually lies with the board.

I wouldn’t mind if they give only 10% of their effort in T20’s. The public that enjoys T20’s have the memory of a fly and will forget the thrashing in few hours anyway.

 

The real test is a month away for which they have ample time to prepare

It's time to cutoff Kohli and his gang from T20. We have enough talents to replace this useless fad. Kohli will get his deserved rest to freshen up and play for packed IPL schedule in scorching Indian summer.

To be frank, last year India played a grueling 3 month series against Australia and left to New Zealand straight from there for the ODI series. The last ODI was on the 18th of Jan in Australia and we played the first ODI in New Zealand on the 23rd. Even though the travel time cannot be compared, the 4 match Test series followed by 3 ODI's was tiring enough for the team. 

 

India won the ODI series 4-1 but lost the T20I series 2-1. The T20I series was close and could have gone either way. This is poor scheduling from BCCI but that would not be an excuse for the Indian team to perform poor. India are still the favorites to win this series.

Bengaluru which gets affected by both SW and NE monsoon gets matches in Aug-Dec.

They just give venues randomly with no thought process behind it.
