Dhoni would have choosen boom only...shammi is a wicket taker but he always gives runs. Dhoni should ask sehwag.. Why is he screwing his image. Half best boom bowling @135k is better than shammi as far as giving runs are concerned... It's crystal clear... Booms bowling action is a puzzle.. Link to comment

It doesn't matter if Bumrah is the bestest but even he can have a bad day and be without confidence. Bumrah gave 17 runs which proved giving him the over was a bad move Which is the problem with Kohli. He has not plan B and no gut instinct. Which means when team is having an off day as a captain he can do nothing but stick to same plans. Which is why a captain like Dhoni will always win way more trophies than Kohli ever will. Dhoni has this instinct of how to change things if they are not going well in LOIs. Misbah wouldn't have played that shot against a regular bowler. But in the end you cannot argue with dhonis results, what he did succeeded and he often went against common plans. Meanwhile kohli sticks to the same plan even when things dont work out. People can defend bumrah bowling decision but the results was that he went for 17 runs. Global.Baba Posted January 31, 2020 Share Posted January 31, 2020 Kohli the captain must be really hated @putrevus Sehwag,Gambhir,Laxman,Dravid,Yuvraj all of them have some bitterness towards Dhoni for ending their careers (maybe not so much with Vvs and Dravid) but they all seem to praise Dhoni’s captaincy a lot more while criticizing Kohli whenever they compare the 2. Bhajji I can understand he needs to suck up due to CSK but even he has been critical of Kohli’s captaincy Link to comment
