england series is at home and will decide the final test championship spot,i am guessing we just have to draw that series to make it.

Target 5-0 and 4-0 against these 2 teams in the coming home cycle. Whatever gives the advantage use it, why should only India give a sporting advantage to opponents? If we have to dig up the pitch or play on quicksand I say do it, make life hell for anyone who wants to tour these shores. India must remain an unbreachable fortress for all visiting sides, un sabka mental disintegration karo.

 I don't think an odd D/N test match as part of the longer series is going to change anything - all teams playing 3 regular day tests are going to get mauled by the juggernaut anyway.  Better that the Indian team gets more match practice with D/N, even in different conditions at home, since they are not going to be able to refuse those games on away tours.  Thoda bigger picture socho Gollu bhai.

Good move, but now BCCI needs to really standardize spectator experience at venues...toilets, food, parking. Next, get high-performance academies in four zones in next 5 years, with world-class programs for all age groups.

Problem for D/N game is not just pace bowling, its the alteration of advantageous conditions to a lottery that can go either way.  

 

But yes, the team is strong enough on either side of the ball to handle it.

True although I didn't mean in direct sunlight. Looking forward to it anyway hoping for Mumbai or Delhi to be one of the venues. Or maybe Kolkata

In their fantasies.  It will depend on the toss and which team has to bat in that weirdo twilight timeframe.  That's the team that will get ripped apart.

Gabba match should have been day/night as well. Looks like the morons have rejected the offer to one more D/N match. Australia is undefeated at Gabba, so the change might have been good for us.

They've been "baying for blood" for a while.  India's series in Australia wasn't an aberration, we were in position to win in 2003, and also in 2007.  You are unnecessarily hyping them up.
