The pakistani government's attempt to 'sanitize' the average indian's impression of pakistan through youtube:

 

1. show "hindus" celebrating "hindu festivals"

2. trend pakistani tv serials

3. use Pakistani cricketers as propaganda tools: why else are they suddenly making videos talking non-stop about indian cricket?

4. largely dispel the myth that minorities are treated poorly in pakistan and use fake accounts that insult the BJP.

 

Counter propaganda.

 

I'm not sure it will ever be effective.

 

India's government and media communicate quite openly on issues relating to pakistan, and have a long history of pakistani violence to point to. A growing consciousness around hinduism also forces pakistanis to question their own origins. The "we were arabs/turks/scandinavians" myth is long gone, and pakistanis will eventually be forced to answer the question of "what do you think of hindus?", and "is it better to be hindu or muslim?" That will put them in a difficult position.

 

India's soft power is also far stronger. India is already more likely to influence pakistanis through bollywood, indian music and tv serials. Most pakistanis (from pakistan, not the ones based overseas with foreign citizenship) learn how to be "cool" from watching indian movies, and obsessively follow indian pop culture.

 

The educated pakistani is less likely to hate india, in fact, the ones i meet are often in awe of india. it's different from how we imagine it.

 

the easiest way to point out pakistan's 'muslimness' is to focus on its blasphemy law.

 

the challenge on the indian side is to effectively communicate that an attack on the pakistani army is not an attack on pakistani people. the government should continue treating pakistanis in indian hospitals, offering help to ones overseas, and so on, while killing pakistani military on the border and beyond.

 

never, at any point in history, has killing pakistani soldiers become so easy. pakistani army is in no position to appear "weak", so they will refuse to declare casualties. they also cannot retaliate through their muslim terrorists in india, because the resulting deaths only create more support for the BJP, as we saw in delhi recently...when the foreign-funded AAP government was forced to announce compensation to hindu victims.

 

india should take this opportunity to kill as many pakistani soldiers as possible until they're willing to negotiate. pick them off for fun.

True Pakistanis generally do not hate Hindus and Indians, any Hindu or any Indians would feel safe visiting Pakistan , even after whats happening in Kashmir and Delhi, they know its BJP and Modi, not a common Hindu or Indian behind these atrocities.

 

  Other than that everything else in this post is delusional or just lack of knowledge about Pakistan and Pakistanis. 

 

Bollywood movies are good entertainments and popular in Pakistan , but , beyond that, they don't  impress a common Pakistani because, right or wrong, Pakistani think they are better looking, more fashionable and "cool" than Indians.

In general, Pakistanis don't have any kind of originality or some culture that they can adhere to. They follow Bollywood movies and music , watch Indian shows, copy North Indian pop culture to look cool and the list goes on and on and on...

 

I mean they can look to slide off as far from their Indic roots as they want, but eventually they'll have to come back to where they are from no matter how much they don't like to. You have other Islamic countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and even Bangladesh , who take immense pride in their roots and have their own non-islamic traditions but sadly pakizz just want to be Arab slaves forever. 

 

So, this is a welcome change.

Other than Pakistani chicks ( when they don't open their mouth) nothing impressive about Pakistani. Most of their people looks like kasab and other terrorists which has been killed like dogs on various part of world or like panchar Wala Akmal and Miandad the Fast Mario  . Basically you cant differentiate between terrorist and Pakistani.
