nevada
The cancer turned his life upside down. If he were just a run of the mill cricketer, he would probably have been content to fight off the cancer and just play cricket at whichever level. But Yuvi was a star in the limelight and still hasn't made peace with the fact that his career was abruptly derailed just after a MOS performance in the world cup. Link to comment

Clarke
Is this an Indian/subcontinent thing: When ur performance numbers don't support ya, u need a captain/coach/selector to cling on to and keep u in the team irrespective of output. Ganguly did have this flaw as well, took this guy to test cricket for some reason. Ankit_sharma03 1 Link to comment
Clarke
Reminds me of Ishant's "if Dhoni asks us to jump from 30th floor, you do so without asking questions", in his days when he was the worst bowler to get 150-200 wickets. The Dark Horse and TheWall 2 Link to comment
afan
Both Dhoni and Kohli gave him as many chances , more than he deserved. I would like recall many of his painstaking innings towards the end of his career, was frustrating to watch Yuvi bat like that and pulled down the team on many occasions more than one. Guys like Yuvi are so full of themselves...the kind of guys you would believe are the ones who consider themselves bigger than the game itself. And then you have the class acts...the Sachins, the Dravids, the Laxmans, the Kumbles (no not even Ganguly himself is part of this) Link to comment
