But we haven’t toured in the past 4 years, so we have missed out on seeing lots of new indian cricketers in action! I hope we tour again soon so we can see some future Indian players representing the country! If we were to tour Zimbabwe tomorrow, I would take a young squad with KL Rahul as captain and Shreyas Iyer as vice captain! Rohit, Dhawan, Kohli, Jadeja, Shami, Bumrah and Chahal will all be rested. My squad would look something like this: 1. KL Rahul (C) 2. Mayank Agarwal 3. Shubman Gill 4. Shreyas Iyer 5. Manish Pandey 6. Rishabh Pant (WK) 7. Hardik Pandya 8. Shreyas Gopal 9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar 10. Kuldeep Yadav 11. Navdeep Saini 12. Prasidh Krishna 13. Axar Patel 14. Prithvi Shaw 15. Suryakumar Yadav 16. Ishan Kishan (WK) This squad is more than enough to whitewash Zimbabwe 5-0! What would be your 16-man ODI squad if we were to tour Zimbabwe tomorrow?

We probably need big phainta from opposition (say aus tour or t20 worldcup) and then we will see our great experienced players making it to zimbabwe squad in few weeks. Gollum 1

No,Dube plz i would rather play Pandya and let him improve his batting(bowling as well to become a little more trustworthy) and evolve.He hasn't sealed his spot yet ,i see too many ifs and buts with his selection across formats,he is a certainty in lois though,but still needa to evolve,i feel his best is still to come and his ceiling is quite higher,needs to play more .Indian loi side needs him more than our current top 3 Edited August 30, 2020 by Suhaan

We need to use Pandya wisely as he's very injury prone. As you said, he's arguably the most important player for us in white ball cricket. I agree Dube wasn't that good in the few chances he got but we have to persist with players like him for a little longer. If he improves his batting, he could be a ready-made backup for HP. Will much rather have him than the krunals and the Axars.

Dube was seen as a backup to Pandya but as seen he doesn't seem to be his alternative,maybe he improves his batting immensely,then we may have a shot at him But Pandya bowls with pace and can hit(he is seen as a genuine AR) What i have observed in Pandya is he has huge potential in batting, some of the shots he plays will put top ARs to shame, unfortunately he seems content with his current ability His batting and bowling both are unreliable,not because he is playing at no.6,7.He seriously needs to come of age now,he should play more , captains shouldn't bowl him for all 10 overs

Zim stand no chance. Paddikal has to earn his spot... To be honest, I haven't seen anything special in him.... I know he is going thru some wonderful form .... but he has to show the same for atleast 3 years ... We have many players who has golden run for 2 years and disappear into oblivion...
