Pushpa 2

While following dhurandhar's box-office collection, i found pushpa 2 has been one of the most successful indian movies.

Can't sit through the movie. My taste is entirely different. how people watch these movies.:hmmmm2:

Pushpa 2 hindi dubbed is the highest grossing hindi film, 835+ cr. It shows the potential of Hindi belt.

Most people give up on S1..  they don't know what's to come later on.

Better Caul Saul is even better than Breaking Bad imo

@coffee_rules will agree

Yes I watched one season and stopped.

I watched S1 in COVID quarantine days... Had nothing to do so soldiered through.

Looking back I too may have stopped it was way too slow.  But it clicked around second of half of S2.

S4 is peak literally.

Yes, kind of. I saw BB first and I loved it. Later saw BCS out of zero expectation. BCS is a slow burner with detailed characterization and buildup of stories and I liked it better, but Bb has ipeaks in season finales, especially season three and four. Terrific shows both of them.

It is a slow starter and gains momentum after season two. You have to be patient, but it has everything family bonding rivalries lawyer stuff in the best part is more of. mike. The old, cool dude who bums of people for fun.

Guys, please recommend 5-6 shows to me, post pandemic ones. Can be mini-series or long ones; it doesn't matter. Haven't watched much the last 5 odd years.

For All Mankind

Yellowjackets (tails off after season 1)

Foundation (just for Lee Pace)

Shogun

The Penguin

BB is more Masala and thrill. BCS is more emotional and layered.

I prefer BB tbh

Yes, that's why I tried watching. Waise this is not gross figure, this is net (after gst n other deductions) figure imo

Dhurandhar at 600 cr. In the list of top 10, there's only 2-3 that are watchable for me.

Avatar -  unbearable :((

This Cameron guy keeps making the same movie again and again and expects people to watch it, first time was good but 10+ hours of the same themes, stories, give me a break. My big mistake, will never go to another Avatar movie in my life, heard that there are 5-6 parts planned.

Dhurandhar was also 3.5 hours long but so engaging, wanted the movie to go on even when credits rolled.

People might flame me for this..

But desi directors are good at family drama than Cameron. The drama in previous part is bad than the worst baalayya film.

Cameron is a genius when it comes to the technical aspect of film making. But his screenplay is almost always a letdown.

People mostly watch these TV series during weekends. Every episode ends on a knifes edge which results in binge watching all the episodes of that season in 1 or 2 sittings.
