There is strong cultural and historical attachment to cricket,  I.e. British Empire

 

Where cricket is played in commonwealth it is mainly expats, no indigenous involvement, therefore states will never invest

 

T20 has potential but ICC are clueless, first step.should have been get it into Olympics and play in new nations, Ireland, Bangladesh even Nepal.

Sachin used to play Blackfoot drives and square cuts all the time.. Lolli is a limited layer who had a very good 3 years.

Aussies need to chill and bowl full quotas of Maxwell and Henriques.. India is not chasing this and their main bowlers can get some rest. Indian fans at the ground can get some respite and something to cheer for.

Yes SRT had many strokes on backfoot.  Square cut,  backfoot punches.  Kohli is a limited player but has maximized his ability all these years to be successful.  With age & slowing reflexes he's going to be exposed.
