KL rahul not at all energetic, goes through the motions while keeping. Doesn’t appeal on tight calls, doesn’t help the bowlers put pressure on the umpires, looks clearly an in natural keeper.

 

Chahar is unreliable in catching as he has shown in the past

That's not true, he did appeal a few times (I think vs Maxwell first T20?) when the bowlers had no interest.

i would say if the fielding had been half decent that what was on display, we could ha e restricted to 15-20 runs less, which would have been a huge difference..

I like Deepak Chahar's bowling but his fielding is too amateurish for a professional cricketer. Actually I have not seen him take a catch, only seen him drop those. For that reason alone, he doesn't deserve a place in the squad. 

Ditto for Chahal, hopeless in the field.
