Waiting to see Jhye Richardson get fit and bowl.  Once he is back, Aussie bowling will look really potent.. Starc/Cummins/Jhye/Hazlewood/Zampa.

Ably supported by Stoinis, Henriques etc..

Starc is getting old, they will need someone as his replacement in 2-3 years time

Should have played Meredith in LOIs against India atleast

After being down at 22/3, Sydney Thunder chase 179 with 7 balls to spare. Daniel Sams hit an astonishing 25 ball 65 with 4 sixes coming off in the penultimate over. Needless to say he was the MOTM.

This was the commentary for the 19th over.

18.5

Laughlin to Sams, SIX runs

Inside out over extra cover, and Thunder have won by a landslide! An utter meltdown from Heat, and what a response from Sams! In the slot for a free swing through the line, and he nailed it again!

18.4

Laughlin to Sams, SIX runs

back of a length, same result! Hammered, up up and away, onto the grass banks at cow corner where there's an utter frenzy to gather these freebies!

18.3
6
Laughlin to Sams, SIX runs

another full toss, and Sams slams another six for his fifty! Just 23 balls, and that's another horror ball from Laughlin. Outside off, juicily in the arc, and munched!

18.2
Laughlin to Sams, no run

well bowled again, a yorker outside off, Sams can't lay bat on it as he attempts a steer through third man

18.1
Laughlin to Sams, no run

full and straight, so near to the base of leg, Sams walks across his stumps so he gets away with the wide. Well bowled

Free Hit...

18.1
7nb
Laughlin to Sams, (no ball) SIX runs

oh my, that's a terrible freebie! Surely an attempted yorker, but Laughlin spears in the beamer, and gets dispatched over square leg for his sins... that could have changed the game...

These Aussies are putting together a very good team for the upcoming World Cup. I'm putting them right behind England with these all round options & hitting prowess.
