TNAmarkFromIndia Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 India has had a long problem of not being able to clean up the lower middle order after getting the top order out cheaply. Can India capitalize on this good session or will they let the game get out of their grasp?
Austin 3:!6 Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Our fielders will screw us more than opposition. sandeep 1

Add the fielding fiascos to the surrender with the bat that left us 50+ runs short of what could have been - that's 150 run swing in a low scoring test like this. Overcoming that sort of disadvantage is tough. That's what turns possible/probable test wins into losses.
raki05 Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Just hope that we don't out at 100-120 like SA in that case we are goner.

I didn't want us to play 20-25 overs against the new ball under lights....we saw what Shaw did and Mayank was dropped by their keeper. We barely survived one down. Even with a 100 runs lead could easily have been 45/5 with Kohli back in the hut and not much batting left. Now our best batsmen will enjoy the best batting conditions tomorrow....hot sunny day, no trace of cloud or wind as per forecast. Sure we could been more economical in 3rd session and Kohli's field setting could have been better but unfair to blame the bowlers after what they did. We didn't even have a 5th bowler like Green to reduce workload, someone like Bumrah had to bowl 21 overs at full intensity in a span of 5.5 hours. When was the last time Aus had to crawl at below 2 rpo for over 50 overs at home? Lion-hearted performance by all the bowlers and we are well placed heading to day 3 under the sun. If we * up now all the blame should go to batsmen and TM. Laaloo, nevada, coffee_rules and 2 others 1 4
R!TTER Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 The blame is on everyone who *s up, batsmen can't take all the blame nor bowlers. In England our batting flopped big time, but when the ball kinda softened up the tail did sh!t for giggles. England on the other hand did much better in those conditions. Catching - yup just like Bumrah dropped a sitter of Marnus the bowlers back then also did major *ups in the field, the batters dropped more catches in the slips though. After getting tonked by Curran the bowlers simply lost the plot in all 4 matches he played. If you analyze most of our losses, it isn't just one player or one set of skills that sucked - they all collectively shat together! Though being the leader & not picking good teams most of the times, I'd say Kohli probably bears most of the blame Vk1 1

Shaw would have been clean bowled no matter when he played and Mayank looked shaky in first innings too. We saw two nights in a row, nothing magical happened during this period. All the wickets were pretty much expected ones. People are unnecessarily thinking about 4D chess moves
helperononline Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 I don't understand why we are not.able to wipe the tail we have Yorker specialist bumrah ,bounce specialist yadav still it is not happening poor captaincy
