Deshpande is a solid pacer for domestic cricket. Is sharp and and bowls with a lot of effort.  Has the attitude of a fast bowler too.

 

But he is short for his pace level. And is average in terms of accuracy. 

 

He is one of those pacers who is just below international standard. I don't expect him to play for India.

 

But we need such sharp pacers in domestic cricket.

 

He is more a FC type bowler ... don't judge him by T20s.

Don't think Salvi was better than Dhawal and Shardul. He was 120kph trundler.

I have seen him bowl sharp spells too.

 

But probably a bit inconsistent in terms of pace now.

He's probably somewhere around 135+

But given his height,he should be creating problems from that as well ,why aren't they playing him atleast in place of Deshpande

As much as i have seen Deshpande he's been quite disappointing

Why can't the richest cricket board arrange for speed guns in one of its premier domestic tournaments ????

Prabhsimran so far in the series with scores of 89(52) vs Karnataka, 43(41) vs UP, and now 63(39) against Railways. 

Anmolpreet has been a letdown after the initial promise shown in the u19 WC and the first season or so in first class but has gone downhill since then even with his fitness.

 

Good to see Abhishek opening the innings.

I don't think so, was following the live scores only  from bcci website.  Also, cricinfo only has 'updates', not ball by ball commentary which 99% is an indication that they weren't telecast.
