Reading some of the threads on ICF may have increased Sridhar's BP levels hence the statement Why is he getting emotional if not for online media trashing them whenever they are not doing good. Have they accepted that its their fault during nz tour. if not, why are they taking credit from the team now. Shastri wasnt there after adelaide nor was sridahr. these people are getting paid in crores for doing this and they want no criticism. some entitlement these people carry raki05, velu and nevada 1 2 Link to comment
nevada
How many "the players and captain deserve all the credit for their nerveless, clutch execution on the field" headlines have we seen? Close to zero. Instead, we have to put up with Kohli texted at midnight (of a day night match) about a genius idea, coaches are great, Shastri is so awesome! crap non stop. sorak, raki05, express bowling and 1 other 2 2 Link to comment

It all started with the post match conference where Shastri credited Kohli for the series win. Imagine a coach crediting an absentee captain right after the biggest test series win of the history and undermining the real achiever https://gulfnews.com/sport/cricket/give-credit-to-virat-kohli-for-teams-self-belief-character-ravi-shastri-1.1611067647008 Quote "You must give credit to Virat Kohli. Perhaps, the highest amount of credit - for leaving Australia and allowing the team to breathe freely. Only Bishan Bedi has spoken about making Rahane full time captain. More people should come forward to question his competence as captain. Sandeep99, Real McCoy, raki05 and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment

Sandeep99
Now now... India came back thanks to some astounding captaincy and gutsy knocks played by Gill, Rahane, Pujara, Ashwin, Pant. R Sridhar needs to be booted out for the team dropping so many catches at Adelaide and other venues. If bevda had his way, we could not have seen Pant or Gill this tour. Thanks to 36, these two played. Else, Saha and Shaw would have continued throughout the tour. Link to comment

Sandeep99
R Sridhar - If you're reading this, know that you will always be rated as a bootlicker and a good for nothing coach who became a coach just because you massage and blow the useless lolli well and you are a drinking buddy of bewda. velu 1 Link to comment

For all such losses his justification was just 1 poor hour/session. Why should we now believe everything his lackeys are saying in the media and grossly undermining Rahane's efforts Ur missing one more that was missing in the series and he is the ultimate boss. putrevus
Shastri was always an excellent student of the game. People who are criticizing other series losses and worldcup. Coach and captain can do only so much. Guys like Thakur and Sundar made most of their opportunity in Gabba.Where guys like Rahul and Dinesh Karthik did not take that chances in world cup. Other than NZ series, I cannot fault much about coaching , Indian batsmen should have done better in NZ and that falls on his shoulders. World cup was not failure for Shastri the coach . adkrish22290 1 Link to comment
