Yes I think it hit the ground but was surprised by how quickly the decision was made considering he was overturning the soft signal. Couple more angles would've helped

Yeah not doubting the decision, it definitely looked bumped on further replays. But they should have spent more time and used more angles to remove any element of doubt. Optics are important when there are no home umpires

It wasn't needed, as afar as I'm concerned the first replay was more than enough likewise for the 3rd ump.

Pant was booed in Sydney when he didnt even claim the catch. Stokes claimed he caught it and that is the reason why the ump gave the soft signal as out. Poor from Stokes. There should be loud booes to keep the poms honest

Pant did claim that catch, he never said he grassed it or it even 50-50

Didnt realize Subhman Gill is so poor with feet movement up until this game. Terrible batting.

Rohit Sharma with all criticism looking much better.

he is 21. he will be fine. needs more polishing.

Kudos to the umpires for standing their ground. Last test Kohli did enough scenes and umpires were ridiculed for not giving in to his tantrums. This time Root, Broad and Stokes tried to bully him and he handled them again. This guy needs a round of applause.

It was the bowler who appealed and Pant stayed quiet. Didn't even celebrate. Stokes claimed it and could have gone either way if the 3rd ump decided its not conclusive enough. But in the end the right decision was made

Yeah hope so. Looked awesome in Australia...not sure what happen this series.

i think he is a better player of pace than spin. funnily enough shaw would have bashed teams in india. we need to start picking players according to conditions they excel in.

If you always do that when will they improve for a young guy like gill he needs to play more and he has good record in ranjis don’t think spin is a problem here.

He got out 3/4 times in this series to pacers, so I'm not sure that translates to struggling against spin

you are not watching.look at some some of his dismissals even in australia,he gets lazy feet.i feel he is not an opener,he needs to bat at 3.

that pronounced seam is really helping the fast bowlers ,need to negate the ball for atleast 10 more overs.

15 at max. Then batsman should try n cash in

He scored well in first test. Second test he didn’t do much.

Yeah, 91 in the second innings at the Gabba was just awful.

He is a brilliant spinner of spin. It takes time to get used to this kind of movement. Even Dravid, Sachin, Ganguly and Sehwag have their struggles against moving ball. Kohli also learnt after few years in international cricket.
