If its between India and newzealand, some kiwi fans can easily make. If it was in Dhaka or Bangladesh or UAE, lot of Indians can make it. In England, I feel we have worse record in England and are mercy of English weather and pitch curators. Kiwis may not do Clouderson and match will end up in a dull draw

We will have Rohit and Rahane. I do not understand who to remove from the list. Tempted to drop Jadeja from your option. between Sharadul and Siraj, we can have only one in. 3 pacers 1 spinner, + Sundar will be able to provide enough rest to pacers. A lot depends on pitch. Playing 11 can not be pre decided. But I have full faith in Kohli messing up with selection. Lets not forget the dreadfull selection when we played two spinners at Lords and all wickets went to pacers while our spinners scored century at bowling. Edited March 8, 2021 by mishra

Great XI & it might pull off the win.. But since Southampton is little slow I'll take a stroke maker like Rohit over Pujara & play Gill at no 3. I think we will need players who can score runs at decent tempo & don't get stuck over there. Pandya & Pant lower down the order can be lethal.

Could have been a match winning one had we not let their tailenders bash us in the 2nd innings.. Although Rohit is in great form, we have to understand that his maximum ceiling is 40-50 runs away from home (esp in challenging conditions) as we saw recently in Australia and countless times before.

Ageas bowl might be the one place where toss won't matter much. Ashwin was horrible there last time & Mo ali exploited the rough there. NZ has not played any game there. mishra Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 As i said, inspect the pitch , look at weather, either ways, more than one spinner is generally not good idea in English conditions, but you never know what lord curators and weather god has prepared for us. Ishant Bhuvi chahar Thakur shami Bhumrah Saini and so on. Play atleast 3 pacers among them with Pandya as fourth seam option. Make it hell for opponents with your bowling. Sundar Pandya and Pant must play. Rohit Chepu Gill and Kohli are our batting options but i am not convinced with batting option, because they are out of form or unproven. Hence they will eat a place among Sundar Pant and Pandya

Quarantine rules may be not there when team visits as this will be in last phase where organized sports is allowed and allmost no restrictions will be inplace, BacktoCricaddict 1
