Franco Vazquez Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 (edited) The champion of anti-racism Harry has been notorious for using racist language against the South Asians. Asian people in the UK and America are attacked on daily basis because of the “COVID”. No one hates an eye. Harry is given a clean chit just because he married a biracial woman. I wonder if he’d been given the clean chit if he’d said the n word Edited March 9, 2021 by Franco Vazquez
MechEng Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 It's because the non black people of colour generally mind their own business and work hard to make money, this is true for United States not sure how are things in other countries. While African Americans have suffered a lot of injustices, they do tend to be very entitled and opinionated which is why people are scared to offend them. The louder you make noise, the more attention you get, jo dikhta hai woh bikta hai.

Franco Vazquez Posted March 9, 2021 Author Posted March 9, 2021 Despite all the randi rona from black people, they are still much better represented in the media and pretty much anything than south Asian people in the West. A Pakistani friend of mine said that even though we are less privileged than white people in the west but we are still more privileged than black people and I don’t really agree with that tbh even though I haven’t really faced any racist incident but I don’t think it’s true. Another thing is that when we south Asians are talking about facing racism, people (of all races) accuse us of playing oppression olympics

BacktoCricaddict Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 From an American standpoint: People of African origin were brought here against their will, in the most abominable conditions, enslaved, treated like animals or worse, whipped, subjugated, raped, lynched, burned, killed for fun, their families broken up because they were sold as property, experimented on by the medical community and the effin government, given zero rights until they fought and clawed for them, and are still paying the price for nothing they did wrong. There are more than enough data that show that, even in the top income quintile, African Americans are still discriminated against in many ways. I have many, many African American students who "keep their heads down and work hard for degrees, jobs and money." But unless they raise their voices, no one listens. An African-American doctor (younger than me) at Duke University was saying last week in a speech how, as a child growing up in the 1970s, he was asked by his teachers how come he was so good at maths while living with savages. He is still living with those scars. How do we expect him to "keep quiet?" Asian Americans, for the most part, have had none of these experiences. Yes, Chinese rail-workers were brought in to work under terrible conditions. But they were not enslaved, treated as property or lynched. Since 1950, most Asian Americans have come of their own volition, generally had the privilege of education in their home country, may face social discrimination here, but not systematic torture and subjugation by the government for 400 years (see 1st paragraph). They don't carry ancestral scars of distrust of the system and government. American democracy has worked for me for 30 years. I have had no reason to believe that I have been discriminated against. But my African American friends - rich or poor - cannot say the same. So, let them be opinionated and scream louder because it the suffering of their ancestors that has allowed us this luxury. sandeep and Vijy 2

So that means that racism against South Asians and Asians should be ignored? Even Pakistanis in 70s were brought to UK without their will but of course they were not oppressed as much as African slaves were but still they used to get racially attacked (Pakistani-bashing). Every culture is racist, Asian culture is racist against dark skinned people, white is against any non-white, black is against any non-black. Idi Amin kicked 90% of the Asians from Uganda and confiscated their property but they were smart and determined enough to move to UK or America and establish themselves in the country they moved rather than whining

That's why there are a lot of Kashmiris in UK and most of them were poor even back in Pakistan and took their conservative mindset with them to UK which has been passed down the generations

I agree, the things that were done to African Americans in the Southern states such as Florida in the past were horrifying to read. I cannot write about them in this forum because of very disturbing content. But being attached to the past is not helpful either, the milenial generation of African Americans should hold no resentment. There was systemic discrimination from Islamic dynasties towards non muslims in the past, but Indians in general do not hold on to the past and learnt to let go things.

Not just Southern states. Let go? Easy for you to say. This schitt is still going on. People who were themselves victims of such extreme oppression are still alive. Not only that, they are only 12% of the population, so their voices are enfeebled to begin with. Vijy 1

To me it looks as we Indians (of all denominations) have a renewed interest in history and want to show their community as the best thing to have happened since sliced bread if it weren't for the interference/influence of the other. I see people wanting very desperately to be the victim. sandeep, MechEng and Adamant 1 2
Cricketics Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 How can an American woman who is not your average woman, but already a popular figure, expect to live in a joint family in Buckingham Palace that easily around so many people. This was never going to work. Plus your race card game which gets played adds to more confusion. Also these twats in Buckingham Palce and also Meghan Markle and Harry are all knucle heads, along with the people who are giving so much attention to them. Buckingham Palace and the queen doesn't really have any political power. Wonder why people give them so much attention an in particular to this case. I am sure these are same people who probably follow Kim Kardarshin and Indian big boss type tv shows. sandeep, Vickydev and Vijy 3
Franco Vazquez Posted March 9, 2021 Author Posted March 9, 2021 I don’t get why Williams and Kate are getting hate. They seem quite decent and are the ones doing all the official trips and charities. Harry has always been a problem child and I’m not surprised that he’s the one who wants to get away from RF but he should also realize that without them, he is just an average ginger and even Meghan is not an A-lister (she might be now). It’s the meherbani of Tyler Perry that they are living in US otherwise they don’t even have the aukaat to buy a house themselves in LA
