Somebody can raise a PIL or a hero judge can go suo moto into the issue of awarding contracts, if they see illegalality. Simply by saying it like RaGa does or in some inane SM video , doesn’t make it reality. Congress has no credibility in claiming corruption on BJP.

How many others got those contracts?

Haha. What about the few families who control the poor farmers, and their crops, and their hard-work money? Why do middleman who don't contribute in production keep such large hold? Why can't poor have freedom to sale their crops to the market?

You are only a hypocrite...

Because the so called free market does not cover the cost. Moron.

Such thread shows the bankruptcy of ideas. Instead of finding solutions for poor people, it is why XYZ is earning? It speaks of only jealously and envy. It is anti-industry, anti-technology, backward mindset.

And this is not just about Adani, it is related with business people who are always unfairly seen with contempt. No wonder our best talents keep moving away from the country.

This shows the level of ignorance of some people, namely you.

Haha, the profit is reason why free market works. Many obviously want the poor to remain poor, and keep them excluded from market freedom and profits.

Farming is not free market anywhere.

Nothing is ever a free democracy, and similarly markets are bound by rules and regulations.

But you are anti-industry, anti-technology and backward kind. Can't expect common sense from you...

Can you show that anywhere?

And cutting middlemen costs will not give more to farmers directly? Why do you need these middlemen to provide what to pay farmers who work hard and get paid MSP by FCI ?

It will but that is not the intent. The motive is to finish it all off else they would gaurantee MSP.

This really calls for Anti Trust laws where wealth is distributed

This is the Gilded age era in India.

What, you do know no such laws exist anywhere in the world :cantstop:

Heck even communist Soviet Russia had no such law!

Except there's really no "free markets" out there! *erberg (FB) threatening the then renowned startup Instagram & then gobbled it up, Nvidia eating up 3Dfx, QC burying TI - the list is literally endless. I can find many other examples outside tech as well, there really are no free markets at least not in the truest sense of the term.

It's free market as well. You are free to buy FB if you can pay.

Quote a clause from farm bill which shows this « intent ».

Show a clause which says it will remain.

MSP has been there for years without any clause or law so why should that be changed?

Go check response of Mariam to my questions.

The intent of Anti trust laws is to stop cornering every sector and what India has is a combination of crony capitalism and monopolies.

Because they are making drastic changes in the market which makes farmers nervous. Under previous BJP/Congress regime they never felt threatened like they do now.

The FB buying did not violate any anti trust laws but Microsoft only allowing their browsers etc. did. It is complicated but European Union and US understand it little bit better. At the same time just one or two families in those countries dont get every piece of the pie.

You will never get a sane answer other than emotional hypotheticals.
