Remember Elon’s company is yet to post dividends and even meet its targeted production numbers.

As reported in the article, “Moreover, it may be noted that the wealth of business leaders like Musk and Adani are mostly based on the share markets. The value of their wealth is estimated based on the value shares they hold in their companies. Therefore, their wealth is a factor of how the market values their companies. It is largely dependent on the performance of the companies, and the business outlook of the sectors in which they operate.” Adani holds companies that have not been impacted by Covid. China posted +3% GDP in 2020 while all others posted negative growth. Figure out why. Anti- trust is about limiting of one or two companies holding a monopoly on market cap. Not for limiting one man’s holding shares of many companies. You are asking limiting or capping one person’s wealth, USSR or old China style. Shouldn’t happen in a free market economy. raki05 1

Mariyam Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Not sure what anti trust laws have to do with this particular topic. However, in certain cases, for instance when a company is a pioneer/developer of a certain service/product and in its light many similar companies spring up, the guidelines by the CCI to regulate 'competition' are at best vague.
