Absolutely  !

Umran .... super extra pace

Prasidh .... extra bounce at sharp pace

Bumrah .... extra everything

Shami ... extra good seam position at sharp pace

Siraj .... extra energy at sharp pace

This could be our test bowling pool in 2022.

Umran uncoached was bowling 150+ in his entire over,or major portion of his deliveries were in 150s last year and early this season, not complaining though

Steyn has done wonderful job by not compensating pace with accuracy he just asked him to hold himself little bit to get into groove of international cricket line and lengths and how to setup international batters

I know ,he will be clocking much high with more experience under his wings

Or stay away from Boobie bhaiya where he will ask him to focus entirely on line and length and forget about pace

Him owning paandu again made a fan. I like bowlers that hurt batsmen. Tyagi has that attitude. Prasidh definitely. Now ummie.

* off bumrah we don't need you for loi. Keep underperforming then drop him from LOI. Let him play tests alone.

You are watching the wrong sport buddy.

Watch the slow motion of miller's dismissal ,umran takes his thumb off from under the seam suggesting to miller that it could be the slower ball but then puts the thumb beside the seam and fires it in at 150 ,great deception.

That's a mouth watering fast bowling attack bro. They will destroy batting line ups everywhere. With Sen, Tyagi, Hangargekar and a few others waiting in the wings future of Indian fast bowling looks bright. Exciting times for us fans.

Fleming on Hangargekar,

“You have to be very careful. I know he’s (Rajvardhan) performed at the Under-19 level but this is a step up,” Fleming said, as quoted by the official website of CSK. “We’re very conscious of the skills that he needs to perform. We don’t wanna just throw him in and damage him. We want to make sure we realise the potential that he’s got.”

He’s on an excellent program with us. He’s played some big games already. If the opportunity arises this year, we’ll put him in. Pace is one thing, how to use it and bowl on the big stage is very important. We’re not gonna mess around with a talent like him,” said the former New Zealand captain.

He should be in our loi teams asap.

As for Test in England. Lol :hysterical:

Taking a 150 kph speedster to England who hardly has 4 /5 day match practice.

In English conditions you don't need this extra pace.

Bumrah

Siraj

Prasidh /Shami

Thakur

The above lineup is good enough.

I am no expert, but IMO when guys like Umran and Kuldeep can be thrown into the big boys league, what's wrong in trying Rajvardhan then ?
It's not like CSK is doing wonders with their current squad selection, their bowling is so pathetic that it's not even funny anymore.

I don't belive in cotton wooling someone for no apparent reason, despite loosing matches after matches, CSK is not willing to play him and Asif in the XI.

Bumrah could learn this ,his slower balls get picked easily these days.

Bumrah needs to pitch it further, don't know why doesn't he gives it chance to move

He looks scared of getting hit, being the leader he needs to behvae like one and look for wickets atleast in beginning of his spell

Yes no harm in giving him a few games. No better place to develop and improve your skills and temperament and the areas he needs to work on than in the middle. CSK coach and captain need to take a leaf out of SRH team management and see how they have developed Umran.

I had once said in T20s you need attacking bowling and in Tests, you need defensive bowling but most don't get it.

Agreed we saw how Mark Wood fared in England. Umran would be handful in a Oval like surface but we are not gonna get that in Edgbaston.  He should focus on T20s & importantly in ODIs first.

Yeah super pathetic tactics...  Hangargekar has come via proper system.   Even if he goes for some runs there's no harm in it.  If he doesn't plays how will he learn?  Fleming like his pal Dudeja is a super phattu.

Bro, this statement from Fleming sounds like one from a veteran politician talking about why he has not done something.

Not playing him to protect him ... a load of BS from.Fleming. As you said, he should look at how SRH has handled Umran.

But TBH, Umran remained net bowler for one season and even in second season could only come in for Natrajan's injury. Grateful to Natrajan. This is basically his third season with SRH. But we also have seen bowlers like Kartik, Mavi, Koti playing IPL at 19.

In tests we have a settled attack, more we need is bounce

I would rather hvae Prasidh first for tests and maybe Umran in subcontinental tests or home tests(hope he debuts here)
