If Arshdeep can maintain 135 with new ball and early 140's in death...he is an asset in T20's alongside Siraj.

That's not his natural pace so I don't think he can maintain it in ODI's.

yes, he is not suitable for 50 overs.

With Bumrah out, Arshdeep can be good option for ODIs as well. Who would be third seamer for WC after Shami and Siraj?

Arshdeep isn't good in ODIs right now. Good only for four overs. Umran, Kuldeep Sen should be tried as third seamer. Prasidh will also be back. Bumrah will be back too.

I don't know if you've already commented on Arjun Tendulkar, so I am going to ask regardless:

What are your views on his performances over the last two games? Do you think he has a high ceiling?

One word view: Disappointing.

He is club level bowler at the moment. Needs to improve a lot. He needs a better coach if he wants to improve. I will suggest the coach who recently worked with Ishant Sharma in Noida.

Arjun's bowling speeds are so low (  significantly less than even old Bhuvi ) that it is difficult to consider him as a pacer at this level.

I think his cricketing acumen is not bad. Probably a result of his interactions with Sachin. But so many of his deliveries are not even reaching the keeper.

Arjun did bowl some deliveries at 133k, bowled wrong line and length in that over, not sure if he has a higher ceiling but will need to add another 10kms to his bowling speed to get anywhere near team India.

SRH should play both Tyagi and Umran with Bhuvi and some good local spinners.

They can bolster their batting line up with 4 overseas players if needed. Its as if the think tank is obligated to field at least one overseas bowler. There’s no need for that.
I’m sure Umran and Tyagi can outclass a guy like Farooqi. And also, it’s not as if Jansen is firing all cylinders.

I like Siraj’s attitude while bowling. If you’re a fast bowler, you should go out there trying to knock the batter out.  Either that or you should be totally in your zone and in your own world.

Especially in sports. That’s one are where being over-confident in your abilities is way better than vice versa.
Johnson had that. Nortje has got it too.
Our other bowlers lack that big time.

Did vyshak bowl a delivery at 151kph in his second over to paddikal, according to Hawkeye he did.

They Probably got the second digit wrong. Must be a 3 instead of 5 lol

Time to admit it was a good ride with Umesh, Shami, Ishant era and it peaked with Bumrah and plateaued with Siraj. Rest look like crap. It’s not about pace anymore:

the guys I mentioned still hit 135-145 effortlessly. Always seem to be fit. They might have bad days but still bowl jaffas and don’t lose pace.

these Sainis, Mavis, Sens can’t last a spell in internationals and far from reliable.

Enjoying the  speed gun is fun but don’t see any additional skills and even pace isn’t that great.

Umran is the only one with  some bright spot but his career is being destroyed.
