Thanks to the CM's in Andhra and Telangana these rats were driven out of Telugu states into Chattisgarh.They have access to rocket launchers etc while security forces are sent into forests without basic protection like Helmets. We have Leftist journalists whitewashing people like Varavara Rao by calling him a "poet". We have 2 Communist parties one of which supported China in the 1962 war against India. Clarke Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 CRPF ? I have always wondered how well equipped these folks are to tackle naxalites in that terrain. The layman in me says a good amount surveillance drones could help capture their movement and avoid such attacks. PunterLog 1

Their equipment is pretty bad which is absolutely criminal. Apparently, more than 500 Naxalites were involved in the ambush. They weren't using drones.

They have observed naxalites and formed a unit called "Grey Hounds" who are specifically trained and armed to dispatch the red barbarians. I remember hearing this word "Grey hounds" routinely in local Telugu news channels years ago. Both major parties in Andhra and Telangana put aside their differences and went after these Naxals irrespective of who was in power.
beetle Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 RIP I don't understand why these naxals are not declared as terrorists and why are their supporters not treated like we treat hizbul members. They are no different . The govt needs to be ruthless here and eliminate these vermins.
Khota Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Sending security personnel to attack without bullet proof jacket is a fault. It does not cost much to do these things and loss of life of CRPF personnel is very expensive in humanitarian and financial way.

Call people like Varavara Rao, Arundhati Roy, Kavita Krishnan, CPIM-L leaders as Terrorist sympathizers. These people provide cover fire to the terrorists who kill and maim the security personnel. They need to be dealt like the infiltrators in Kashmir beetle and Vickydev 2

The forces also need to understand why they are formed may tackle that as well. YSR was bad for many things but he eliminated most of these rebels after calling them for talks and intelligence noted their pathways in to forest. World keeps mum on China uighur action, it will act with glee to show India as a villain if IA does anything against Naxals. India should move some IA troops into CRPF and quietly go about it while keeping it a police operation not an army operation.

Seriously doing a surgical strike on another soil is a lot tougher act than doing something like this on our own soil. I still think a covert op would suit us better instead of raining Hellfire from Apaches. Naga terrorists have taken some serious hits in last few years due to these tactics.. I am sure same can be applied here. Human rights Randi rona happens everytime & we are not anyways in the good books no matter what we do.
