US has moved their vaccination date ahead by 2 weeks, UK is on track. EU is procuring vaccines , not manufacturing them hence the delay. We have SII , already exported 6 crore vaccines to other countries. Are we leveraging it properly? Should I share the link to SII CEO's interview link where he says he is waiting for a grant to ramp up production? Spin it all you want, the govt basically assumed that second wave won't happen. Policy protocols are required but if they don't work, there is no harm in changing it instead of clinging to bureaucracy. Vaccine wastage is real, people are not rushing to vaccinate themselves. If the vaccines are easily available and there is no rush, where would "widespread fraud" occur? Problem is you should either use common sense or trust facts. Seems you don't do both govt should press the button and make 1 billion vaccines for Indians instantly, and also fulfill the contractual obligations that helped obtain manufacturing in the first place. Its all gormint fault. This morning, my bowel movement wasn't the smoothest it could be - damn u gormint!! You are relatively new to this forum, else you would know that I am one of the most vocal critics of the BJP and Modi govt around here. But criticism without basis is propaganda. Vaccines are already being administered in US. Russia using Sputnik.

Neurochemical , educated intellect.. fancy words for someone who can't even Google and understand what Vaccine wastage is I have not seen one fact based refuttal from you till now, your argument is mostly gas. BacktoCricaddict Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 So, what is the problem with Covaxin? From a clinical trial standpoint, they didn't do anything different than Moderna or Pfizer in getting EUA before Phase III was completed. It has shown 81% efficacy in trials and in-vitro (lab) effectiveness against variants. Are there any "Phase IV" (post-deployment) data that indicate a problem? Or are they just not able to ramp up production? Just because case counts are going up after vaccines were deployed doesn't mean vaccines are ineffective. Are enough people being given the vaccine swiftly? Are they keeping track of vaccinated vs unvaccinated populations and get good post-deployment data? As we in science like to say "Vaccines don't control infectious diseases, vaccinations do." sandeep 1

The states need to ramp up disbursement infrastructure. Its a move not many state governments are willing to make, given that post this drive that cold storage space wouldn't find much use. sandeep 1
