Let's use this thread to track Vihari's performance in the County season.

He is in the 11 for the match vs Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.

Very curious to see how he gets on. Runs in April in England are often very difficult, as are wickets for a spinner.

Yep. Great opportunity for him to tighten his technique against movement.

Trent Bridge in mid-April is perhaps the coldest weather Vihari would have experienced as a player.

Saw the poor guy asking for another layer of jumpers.

Actually, he is facing Broad and weather this year is worse then it used to be at this time of year. Cold chilly and windy

In his defence:

Sibley's absence obliged Warwickshire to reorganise their batting line-up. That meant Rob Yates was promoted to open and Vihari moved up to No. 3. In normal circumstances, that would be fine. But Yates, making a fearsome hash of an attempted cut, fell first ball and Vihari only emerged from quarantine on Wednesday. That meant he had time for one net session before embarking on his first innings since the Sydney Test in January. It was hardly ideal preparation for facing Stuart Broad in his own back yard.

Gone for a duck off a painful 23 deliveries and 38 minutes.  Caught off Broad in the slips.

He has a long way to go in swing Conditions.
