Siraj and Shami can slog a few, but have no batting technique. Even oldies like Piyush Chawla and Mishra could bat. Remaining Indian bowlers cannot bat to save their life. And the situation is getting g worse as the current crop is among the worst in batting. India will never win anything as long as their bowlers cannot bat to save their life. They lost most of the major tournaments over the last decade because of a lack of depth in batting. Every team has batting depth till 9 or 10. Even Afghanistan has Rashid Khan who can slog and power hit. India must have the worst tail among cricketing powerhouses. Timing is also crucial. Most of Cummins strokes were well timed... And his batswing was awesome as well. They need to practice on these sorta things. Chahar is only good when there is swing. On batting friendly tracks he'll get taken apart. Like the final over today. If KKR had constructed a proper batting order for the situation, he wouldn't have had such figures. Thakur is a very limited bowler. Handy as a lower order batsmen . I sae Nagarkoti today, total lack of match awareness and brainless batting. Rahul Chahar didn't do anything noteworthy in the chances he got to bat. Like yesterday. Jayant Yadav can bat. Most of the guys take it seriously in situation of crisis like when settled batsman is there at other end, we need to pull a draw or something etc. Otherwise they dont take batting seriously. That's how they dont improve at all. They need to bat as well in nets just like Australian bowlers do as shown in The Test where Lyon is batting & taking advice from Ponting. He has done well for almost 3 season now for CSK u think he never played on such surfaces. Also what proper batting construction these are same rana n tripathi was doing decent till now heard such crap before....even sandeep who is slower has had guys like gayle, kohli, rohit as his bunny and trouble de kock, sky, mayank big time in ipl....
