Read one post where someone mentioned Pujara has below 30 average in SENA. It's very surprising if that's true.

  • Averages 26 since 2019 (16 matches)
  • 30 innings without a 100

Would get axed in most roles for performances as dire as above

But But he can take body blows, get his thumb fractured multiple times during live match.  Isn't it entertaining?    Why do u want runs?    Runs are secondary.   :giggle:

Rahane cant do well at 5 and u r asking him to move to 3?

Rahane is a player with a low celling as well as low floor. From his debut to 2020, he has never averaged below 30 in any year despite averaging mediocre 30s in many years. Additionally, his lowest average in any country is also bordering on 30 (29.52) in England despite having a career average of only 41.

Players like him will not thrive or dominate ever but they will also not crash down if you change their position. It is better to squeeze out his output in a different position and let Sundar bat at a more relaxed position early in his career instead of throwing Sundar to the wolves in the top order and then playing antakshari to find a new talent if he fails.
