Although pace is much harder to face now tbf.

Vijy Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 I will always have a soft spot for what Amarnath did at his peak... something that very, very few can do - to handle the fast attacks of WI and the biased umpires of Pak with ease. Otherwise, I agree that the list should have Laxman at the top, although IMO India's most effective batsmen in wins was Dravid (his test avg in wins is staggering).

Pujara Colonel Vishy Amarnath Rahane Dada Rohit hasn't played long enough, needs at least 4000 test runs. Azhar the fixer should not even be on this list.
