Indian WC t20 squad to be announced on 8th sept 2021 now

Is this true that teams can be changed till Oct 10 , even though they have to announce the 15 by Sep 10. 

Anyone has any idea?

All bases covered. If Varun C makes it to the squad, use him sparingly, unleash him on some SENAW side in a KO....teams like Pak/SL handle mystery spinners much better. 

 

If we go with spin options like Jaddu, Chahal, Krunal we are screwed. 

 

mine is exactly same just that i took Varun C as fixed spot coz i dnt knw nattu n bhuvi fitness 

Bhuvi played in SL but still is far from his best

Hope Bhuvi had enough rest and regains rhythm in IPL. Underrated T20 bowler, just this year he was exceptional against England. 

 

Not hopeful about Nattu, knee surgery takes a long time to recover and along with hip issues probably the most common cause for retirement even in tennis. He will be a big miss.

Rohit-Kohli opening will be proper torture, extra pressure on Ro as well. 

 

Need Kishan to partner Ro. Knowing how insecure Kohli is, don't see that happening.

I remember the reason 2007 was a successful campaign was because, India dropped the baggage & went for a radical team, where the likes of Rohit Sharma, DK, RP Singh. Yusuf Pathan, Joginder Sharma were selected, without much experience & they had the teams in a spin..

Some positions do appear a bit crowded and I get the feeling which ever player has the momentum at the time will be picked.

 

I dont think all the positions are locked in, bar Kohli.
