Also, Bumrah and Shami should rest from IPL....especially the former. They had a long work load in Eng and need fresh for T20 WC.

Chakarvarty looked nothing too special this IPl & then in Sri lanka.  Fielding & batting looks average.  R Chahar better prospect & far far younger. 

Varun C is decent at best...  But certainly better than Chahal.

Bumrah Shardul D Chahar should be top 3 pick.  Shami vs Siraj I'll go with Siraj.  No way Shami should be automatic pick.  Shami has never been a good T20 bowler & if I remember he was carted around in Australia.

Why do we need shami for? He's awful at the death and if wickets are flat, he'll be smacked in the PP too..

I think it’s a pretty easy squad to pick: the 6 MI starting players (barring Krunal) + Kohli, KL, Thakur, Bhuvi, Siraj, Chakravarthy, Jaddu, Pant, Chahal

 

Reserves: Ashwin, Deepak Chahar, Shaw/Padikkal, Iyer
