jalebi_bhai Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Btw, here is a video from the infamous book launch. Guess what? It's not just Kohli-Shastri, but a good chunk of the squad that was present at this event. Sky commentator Michael Holding was also present. Yea, I'm calling BS on the cricket boards not being aware of this event. How can BCCI not know that so many of it's contracted players were attending?
coffee_rules Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 This looks bad, BCCI relenting in matters of player safety and ECB arm twisting.facking angrez ——- The BCCI also put out the option of cancelling the final Test, but the ECB is understood to have made it clear that it would interpret any refusal to play as forfeiture. https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/eng-vs-ind-5th-test-2021-manchester-test-to-go-ahead-as-entire-india-squad-tests-negative-1277117

Sala Haramkhor should be sacked with immediate affect if he’s not informed BCCI about organising his own book launch events and forcing players to attend it. coffee_rules 1
asterix Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 I’m extremely doubtful of the match going ahead. I cannot believe that not a single player is infected even after interacting with now infected support staff and also attending all those Shastri book launches crowded events. Something might happen before the match starts. coffee_rules 1

No team in the world including india would agree

Gollum Posted September 10, 2021 Author Posted September 10, 2021 Changed thread title. Shall wait for confirmation from a more reliable handle.
