India's biggest T20 match winner?

I was surprised to see this stat. It is Kohli. I thought he skipped a lot of series. He is still our biggest match winner in t20.  Also Kuldeep is very impressive 4 out of 23 matches.

Till 2016-17, he was our best T20 batsman. In 2012, 2014 and 2016 T20 WCs, he was in monstrous form. My guess is most of these awards are from pre-2017.

Since then Rohit and Rahul would have won more MoMs than him.

Isn't that obvious.

Kohli is the GOAT T20I batsman.

Also notice the difference in Man of the series awards, he has won 6 of them while the next best is B kumar who has won 2.

Yes he has skipped a lot of series but still whenever he plays international t20 series, more often than not he turns out to be our best batsman example - the last series vs eng and also vs Windies ( Williams ki kutai to yaad hi hogi)

When Kohli won his  last 3 awards would be more interesting. I bet its a few years apart.

I highly doubt he has won 3 awards in the last 3 years. Could be wrong.

Kohli wins a MOTM in every 7.5 th match.

Yuvraj is pretty close with once every 8.28 matches.

Rohit once in 11.1 matches.

Shikhar Dhawan, with only 4 in 68 matches is just pathetic. How did he play those many games. Opinions- @Khota

This list is unfair to bowlers, Bumrah only 3 in 50 matches is a surprise. He has won way more than that.

His best years weren't enough to win us anything at ICC events barring CT2013

I found him absolute beast while chasing, most of knockouts(2014,2016) we failed as were batting first where like most Indian batsmen he had no clue how to bat and set targets offcourse others too failed around him at the same time

Lol what?

2014 final - He batted really well (was restricted at the death by some top class death bowling from SL) and had he got a little support at the other end, we'd have posted at least 155 which would have been a match winning total on that wicket.

2016 semi - Got 89 off 47. Don't know what more he could have done.

2014 was a failure, in his peak years he had more  control of the game while chasing not batting first

2016 SF ,i already said others too failed around him ,it will was such a beutiful pitch, England chased 229 at same venue same tourney and  WI did the same to Eng earlier in the tournament same venue

It was a par score against WI there

Due to the fact they bowl only 4 overs it is harder to make a greater impact than a batsman in T20 unless it is like freak 6 for7 by chahar.

The point is this isn’t a benchmark.

to me India’s biggest T20 match winners are Rohit,Kohli,Yuvraj and Irfan Pathan and to a small extent DK. That’s about it.

Rohit for his record 100’s and winning man of the match in WT20 must win games

Kohli for being man of the tournament in 2 WT20’s

Yuvraj for his 2007 exploits

Irfan same reason

DK- man of the match in our first ever game and that too against an ATG SA side on a disastrous tour and also the Nidihaas final and a couple of other cameos against big sides.

Rest all are making up the numbers.

Rahul will be in this list soon.
