@zen - Pls come on this thread and educate us how is this guy makes it to playing XI?

To change the game by grabbing momentum for India.

No Ind player could got going in the first 10 balls. The guy played the toughest phase of the match, last few balls, and set Ind up for a 150 total

Shoukd have been sent in earlier rather than the momentum sucking inning by Jadeja

He is not bowling and included as specialist hitter for death overs despite being out of form.

Scored 11 runs of 8 balls today.

Weren't you congratulating Pakistan by the 6th over?

"Fans" like you are overly emotional and demonstrate lack of capacity to evaluate games and players objectively.

At least try to control your rona-dhona until later.  Have a drink or something to grow some hair on your balls, or a spine.

Its a t20 game where he got a chance to come in the 18th over and all he could do is throw his bat around from ball 1 - that is a low percentage success for all batsmen.  Even a wellset Virat flailed and got himself out.  At a minimum he outperformed Jaddu.  And with dew, he may even contribute with the ball.

Dont write off players who have repeatedly delivered for Team India.

There will be good and bad days. Why not cry about Rohit or Rahul's failure today?  What did they do? Why single out Pandya?

Issue is that many Indian fans do not get the concept of situation.

When a batsman comes in with only 12 balls to go, many expect him to bat like a batsman who has already played 20 balls is picking and choosing balls to hit versus someone who has neither the option to settle down nor the luxury to pick and choose balls to hit (he has to try to hit almost every ball)

don’t act naive dude. Pandya is not getting criticized for failures. It’s not about that.

here is a guy who gets into the team as an allrounder

Doesn’t  bowl, isn’t expected to bat long and right now isn’t even fielding because of fitness and still is a guaranteed starter ever game.

Do you see a problem there?

I see bigger problems with Rohit and Rahul putting up crap time and again and KLPD-ing the team.

Sure, then drop them on form. That’s fair.

You don’t see an issue with an half fit cricketer ruining the balance as a bigger problem. Ok

Pandya is not 'half fit'.  I'll take the word of the team, captain, coach, players, medical staff over teh emotional rants of armchair self-appointed 'acumen' on the question of his fitness.

that makes it worse. Then he should be kicked on the butt to bowl and field.
