I am putting the blame on Selectors and TM.. picking unfit and out of form players for a world cup.. only India can do this

Pandya stopped India's collapse in the SF of Wc 2019?         I m feeling really enlightened after learning this.

It is TM's decision. Though I see nothing wrong with playing him as if he can strike his best form, he can win Ind a tournament. Others no matter how they play could do zilch at key moments.

Koi naya nahin, take Ishan instead. Shardul can replace Bhuvi .. but before 1st match Kohli backed Pandya and now his big fat ego will not drop him, but put band-aids everywhere else.

you do know Indian cricketers brand value is dependent on how many appearances they have for their national team.. Pandya is not going to voluntarily sit out even if he's 50% fit

With his form and stance and no bowling, he can plat a 10 (12) and look better than a 0 (1) top order. I don’t see him play a role like Nabi or other to recover from a early collapse. He can be expected to a 20 (8) or a 12(4) at least.

He does not need to play a role like anyone. His job should be to bash the spinners in the middle overs. If he fails, others can take singles and hit an odd boundary here and there. 

 

As for managing collapses, he has done that many times in ODIs like in CT 2017 final and recently in Aus where he hit 2 90s. When he gets more balls to bat on regular basis, he turns a game around.  With 10-12 balls to go when he comes in and facing good bowlers (19th-20th overs are bowled by specialists for e.g.), he will always try to go for a boundary of every ball. Yes, if he faces a weak bowler, he will smash him too. There is no player like him in Indian team. 

 

The issue for Ind is its top order, which is occupied by players who have been paying cricket since decades and therefore have a large fanbase which looks to find fault with players who actually play to win rather than build up stats. If you prefer, stats, you will get them but not necessary tournament wins. Ind has usually won tournaments because of likes of Srikant, Kapil, Yuvi, Dhoni, Gambhir, etc. Ind here is more likely to win (and not just make a customary appearance in a knockout on virtue of playing some weak teams in group stages) because of likes of SDP and Pant.

Lol Pandua has become complete hack, in aus he smashed bowlers like sams and few other no names. Even Sir jaddu scored at better sr than him against Starc, Cummins and Hazlewood.  In biletral every indian player look world beaters. Also Pandya has habit of hack around once all hope lost classic example ct final and sa test series. However when you really need him to form inning in crunch matches he ll back and get out ex: In 2018 eng match we neede some 60 runs to win in 4th in ing first Kohli and then he choked and we lost match, same goes with wc sf he came early but unable to form partnership and got out like a hack where all he needed was to form partnership and we were through. Bloddy Jadega whom we laugh had won more matches than this phony alrounder. If he is injured who asked him to be available for team selection he could have told I am injured.
