the don Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Afghanstan has a much stronger attack. Barring Bumrah this is a terrible bowling attack. The mystery spinner is the kind of finger spinners you find with the tennis bowl. The others are buffet bowlers. speedheat and Khota 1 1
SK_IH Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Yes but tumhari bhi aukaat saamne aa jayegi toss haarne ke baad Indwin, GautiMaan, speedheat and 5 others 1 4 1 2
Vijy Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 it is the worst among the test playing nations in all likelihood (in T20s)
SK_IH Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 (edited) IMO top bowling lineup in this tournament is SA, then others follow. India lacked options, look at teams like Eng/Pak/NZ/Aus/WI there are multiple bowling options which are luxury in this format. India once again pathetic as they had bowlers who didn't bat & batsmen who didn't bowl plus 2 all rounders who didn't bat or ball Edited October 31, 2021 by SK_IH sarcastic 1

Even Shardul, I mean he cannot be one of your strike bowlers, he is more suited to play Dwayne Pretorius type role but we are seeking Rabada type performance from him
express bowling Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Changes in Indian cricket come about ONLY when we are performing pathetically. So, we can still benefit in the future from this pathetic situation. Sgattick10 and Mosher 2

One of Bowlers 1-3 (positions 9-11) must be capable of tonking some runs, like rashid khan or southee. If we follow the template outlined above and identify correct players for correct positions, either winning or making finals of T20 WCs would be a clincher straighttalk 1

Adi_91 Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 If you go with "safe" options for bowling, then safe becomes not safe enough. This is Ind bowling's story so far this tournament. How can Harshal, Chahal, Bishnoi not be picked when they delivered time and again in these conditions? Beyond my understanding, This is classic wastage of in form players to win major tournaments. daryl1985 1

It's disgraceful that even after playing a decade of IPL none of our batsmen are proficient in sweeps/reverse sweeps/paddle. Today each & every batsman went in the air for slogs to hit out, no manipulation of field just slogs. Vijy 1

It's about identifying the right players and nurturing them express bowling 1
