First class
Good decision , he is 34 , time to make some money for retirement by playing full time franchise cricket, nothing wrong with that. God luck to him. nevada 1 Link to comment

nevada
Wise decision from Pollard. He is 34 and no longer capable of playing full time. With a reduced workload, he can hopefully have a purple patch like AB for a year or two in franchise cricket before bowing out altogether. His refusal of a West Indies board contract while still in his prime was quite a shocker and paved the path for other WI cricketers to take up franchise cricket full time. Their cricket board is severely short of funds and there's lots of inter island rivalry and politics. There's nothing wrong with cricketers prioritizing franchise cricket over playing for a board which is incapable of providing for them. Link to comment
