Real captain has to manage experienced and junior players. It is not just strategy. Leadership is very key. Don't go by IPL standings. Neither Samson nor KL Rahul are good captains. Just had a decent set of players. Hardik was literally spewing MC/BC at his own fielders. Pant also had his own share of meltdowns. That’s why MSD has been able to win titles with washed up retired and half retired semi pros. you can afford to have a specialist captain provided he is not a net negative like Rohit and other areas of team are strong. Someone like Morgan could work as he is willing to push himself down the order and only bat if absolutely necessary but guys like tuk tuk sharma and Kane are liabilities.
