I really want atleast a couple of Indian pacers who can bowl.145 k+ .. are tall and have natural bounce .. and can move the ball at pace 

 

The 2 obvious contenders are Kuldeep Sen and Kartik Tyagi.

 

It's good to see one of them in India A.  Waiting for thd other one. 

 

Mohsin Khan has all these qualities except that he is more 140 k+. ..  he will be another great addition to our Team if he can stay fit.

My 2 cents- 

 

Note;- right or wrong selection is my view only

 

Team for 3 ODI's

 

Prithvi- Super Talented Sehwag no 2, seems his fitness is better now. He is one guy who is more talented than  few batsman in indian t20 team to world cup. some say he cant play once field opens up. in odi field restrictions are for 15 overs and he has the capability to hit a century in first 15 overs itself. He is a USELESS fielder , even sehwag was an average fielder but he is like extraordinarily talented.

 

abhuimanyu eswaran- Not too excited about his ODI or short format game ..so I am not very impressed. Wrong selection 

 

ruturaj- he is very talented but not consistent..lets see how he performs but yes He is a right selection.

Rahul Tripathi- ideal player to come at no 4 or 5 or no 6..right selection.

Rajat Patidar- has a lot of shots - ideal player for no 4 or 5 or 6. right.

Sanju samson- He should Open or play 1 down and score 2 centuries in 3 odi's if he wants Chetan Sharma and team to select him into  indian xi, if i was samon , I would have opened against NZ A and scored 2 centuries at least in 3 matches in Chennai. right selection.

KS bharat---- Top selection..good keeper and a good batsman, His keeping is better than rishabh , karthik , samson and is a much safer keeper and a cool batsman.

kuldeep yadav- wrong selection, his form has gone down and i dont see any future for him. i am seeing him bowling short balls..short balls by spinners are gifts to strong batsman. he should play for his state and prove himself and then come for bigger teams. i believe india A is the second most strongest Indian team. this guy is seriously out of form.

shahbaz ahmed- right selection but i some how am not impressed with him.

rahul chahar- good selection..he is very close to yuzi chahal and bishnoi as our top spinner.

tilak verma- some guys rate him high so i kind of agree , he is a right selection.

 

KULDEEP SEN- SUPERB Selection. ASHWIN was calling him as the fastest Indian bowler in India in IPL. Ash didnt face Umran malik. Kuldeep was bowling to Indians in Asia cup too and i think he was very close to India Selection. i think this guy will play for INDIA very soon. I saw his bowling LIVE in a match and i saw the keeper jump and miss his bouncer. i think that ball was recorded at 149K.

Yes He was very fast. 

Shardul- Wrong selection....he should be practicing hard n be ready to replace hardik as hardik's fitness is not a guarantee. i some how feel Shardul may be picked as a replacement to Ashwin as ash is a waste in Australia.

umran malik-  Hope he proves his skills in these matches. he can succeed even on chennai patta's. great selection

Navdeep Saini- Great Selection. i saw him bolwing in IPL but was surprised as to why he was not played in 11. He was looking as fast as Kuldeep sen , i saw saini practicing in nets. Saini is a great talent. I am not sure why he has been failing.

Raj angad Bawa- i dont know about him but some of you say He can bowl upto 140K and is a hit the deck pacer and a left handed good batsman. i cant comment on him now. but probably a right selection.

 

 

i see shardul, kuldeep and eeswaran as wrong selections in this team. eeswaran may score runs but what matters is scoring runs at a great strike rate too.

some guys including shammi calls mohsin khan as the next zaheer khan. he says mohsin bats well too.

 

mohsin ..the left arm pacer is rated highly by many good pacers....i think he may have fitness issues or they have some other plans for mohsin khan otherwise he would have been in this team.

Thats the thing with umran he is either a runaway match winner or a match looser. Whatever comes it comes in extreme. Most cricketer will have more bad days then good and with his lack of experience and skill set it bad days can be even more. Thats why TM is a lil afraid in his case , he can win u games on his day but if it aint his days he ll put his team in loosing situation which also happened in IPL.

Not sure if Abhimanyu Easwaran is a good selection in LOI..wud hv preferred Yashasvi Jaisawal..his leg spin also can be groomed

some good selections in pace department but still Tyagi and Mohsin(soke batting potential) are missing..

These pace bowlers need to be given lot of matches to be groomed..and not just one series..

 

any idea how Kumar Kartikeya is doing..MP won Ranji trophy and he was bowling good..mystery spinner slot he can book.(update-just found he took 5 wkts West Zone yesterday)

 

Pleasantly surprised to see Raj Bawa..long way to grow for him..but I like the thinking of TM here..need to give him lot of matches…

if he answers the call..it will give a major boost to Team India balance..esp hitting the deck with angle..left handers will be troubled a lot

Its not like we have problem of plenty when it comes to express pace.. pragmatic approach would be to groom him faster.. he is special.. don't make him go through the grind like normal blokes.. let him fail at the top and learn.. also apart from Bumrah rest have not cemented their places

ofcourse he is special , anyone who is a runaway match winner is always a special player but yea international cricket specially white ball now needs u to be more ironed out

Raj Bawa...  4 over 9 runs and a wicket...  Didn't do much with the bat but seems to be doing very well with the ball so far in both games.  I hope we keep playing him in these A games.
