To challenge Aus & Eng, along w/ the rising SL which is likely to be in its group, NZ would need to bring its A game to this WC … Not an easy path to SF this time around (no games in NZ as well) unless the key players are in form. 
 

If NZ makes it to SF, it would be playing brilliant cricket and in that case could turn into a strong title contender in the KOs.

Strong squad, pace attack looks very strong with Milne's return, excellent spin duo as well. All bases covered, only the mental scars of venue remain, and boundary dimensions which they aren't used to. Behind RSA, Aus as of now IMO, let's see what form they bring to the Cup.
