If DK flops there also make Rahul take the spot of DK.

They can do some band-aids.. doubt they will ask Pant to open in the semi finals , if at all we make it.

Who said in cricket 101 the teams cannot be changed.There is nothing called 2 matches to go. Kl Rahul has played  all matches so far and has looked crap as usual in big games. It is only idiotic Dravid  and fan like you who think he will do something.

Why not, Raina was picked up  and Pathan dropped during midway during 2011. 

 

There is no band aid needed ,Pant on his worst day will do better than mental midget Rahul.

I am not married to him and giving him fan titled nicknames, if he’s dropped well and good. Going by how BCCI operates over years, unlikely to see KL being dropped in next two games. How much ever you rant and call people names. If it makes India win, more power to it! :isalute:

If you are not defending his selection then good for you. He needs to be kicked out  and Pant should open. I want to play Rahul in place of DK but against Bangladesh if DK is fit I would roll dice with him.

Both Rohit and Rahul have starting troubles.  One of them has to be pushed down.  Of the two Rahul is better in the middle as his averages reflect.  India has zero finisher now given that DK is not doing what he is supposed to do. Turns out Ashwin is our finisher now. KL Rahul can assume that role. Also if there is a top order collapse he can stop the collapse and be a partner for SKY or VK.  India can drop Hooda and have Pant open or have Hooda open against Bangladesh. Even though it is BD, Taskin is a very good bowler who can take the ball away with new ball. One more top order collapse we will be in no man's land even against BD.

All eleven need to contribute. It is not 10 vs 11. India is handicapped because it is playing 10.

Dropping Hooda and have Pant open is a good idea if batting first. If batting second Pant is wore out.

We cannot have everyone firing at the same time. Axar, DK too can be dropped this way. And it's not guaranteed the bench warmers will do better.

Two excellent points. That's exactly what a team management is supposed to do. Back players and strictly follow its policies.
