We had a similar thread 5 yrs ago on Dhoni.  Dhoni even in his declining career (post 2015 WC) had something to offer to the team.  Viz field placements, giving bowlers (especially spinners) tips.   KulCha became highly successful largely coz of Dhoni.  But what does this Fraud DK offer?  Last match against SA, our bowlers pretty much had it under control.   Then this Fraud came up and offered some useless advice to Ashwin, who started getting smashed immediately thereafter as if there was no tomorrow.     This Fraud doesn't even possess a stable brain.  As can be seen in the manner he got run out today. There was a chance he could hv run out Kohli too.   TM should explain why he is in the team forever.

I'll take Iyer over him...  Give gloves to Kela even.  There is so much we can do to salvage something still & may even win the damn thing.

Nobody predicted Kohli could strike form here. With him and SKY in great form India just needs  a few more tweaks to the side to go all the way.  When we started we were worried about too many things. Trundler army Kohli's form etc.

This is Indian cricket. Load 2-3 good batsmen at top, then just play friends and passengers after that and pray hard that day never comes when all top batsmen fail.
