Knows to talk this Ashwin.

Seems to be another motormouth.

Twitter most likely has another star in the making after Sehwag and Amit Mishra.

Smart operator..Ashwin will most likely enter cricket administration  and will become an official soon enough.

Dangerous guy, need to beware of him!

Ashwin giving all this gyaan but unable to take wickets in the middle overs. Doesn't even try, what nonsense.

He never took wickets in the recent iPL editions. Why do we expect him to take wickets that too in wrist spinners land. India completely botched it by going for extra batting instead of wicket taking option.

Chahal should have played at Adelaide. Period. Not that we would have won it but still. He has the knack of taking wickets and batsmen attack him. Fukk you Dravid and Sharma for playing useless Axar all the time.

That was a given. India could not come up with the most obvious call. Imaginary batting depth to cover the asses of Rohit/Rahul

Chahal would have been smoked too. Just because he's a wrist spinner doesnt make it safe.

Bishnoi could have been better option as he bowls quicker.

Even in IPL he comfortably outbowled Ashwin in terms of taking wickets. LEg spinners vs right handers is always a far better chance. Even if Chahal is 10% better than Ashwin's bowling or Axar's bowling he should have been backed.  As much as i hate Chahal India was in a desperate situation to have some level of potency in the middle overs. Neither of the finger spinners looked like troubling any batsmen.

obviously they were played for their batting/fielding. Ashwin especially contributed v Pak and BD.

Chahal himself was thrashed in Asia Cup where Ash did well. Axar had done well v Aus

In Australia it is mandatory you play a leggie. We cannot go in with a mindset that he may fail. Given a choice any SENA bastman would prefer a finger spinner over leggie. That is the risk India should have taken. Unless Ashwin was going to be used as a pinch hitter he had no place. India lacked wicket takers on flat wickets as seamers looked flat as well.  Ofcourse we missed a lot of runs. Atleast 30 to 35 short. But we still have backed a leggie.

no its not mandatory.Santner, Raza did well.Hasaranga got smashed v Aus. Chahal is noway near.

Chahal might have come in for Axar but wouldn't made much of a difference, That'd mean Bhuvi at 8 and our batsmen would be even more cautious,

Raza is a mystery spinner. He just doesn't bowl off spin. Santner is an exception due to his pace variation.   Hasaranga overall had a good tournament. Failed only against Australia.  He is still their best bet. Shakib went for 8.78 an over Ashwin 8.15 an over.  Axar went for 8.62 for an over. Mosaddek hossain 9.14 . Shadab, Hasranga, Sodhi, Zampa, Rashid, Rashid khan  had good ER.  Even historically it is a wristies land.

Ashwin 8.15 is bad? That's Chahal's career economy including in India.

What stops Ashwin using his variations, he too has them.

Zimababwe match made him look good. Otherwise never looked like taking a wicket

did okay v Pak too.

Bigger point is Chahal's form. The one who got smashed even in Asia, you expect him to fire in Aus just because other leggies worked?

On Australia bigger grounds it would have worked. Ashwin not even in IPl could bag wickets. Has one of the worst strike rate.  Today his bowling certainly worked
