What was the context ? Actually human female body is aesthetically more pleasing than male. But it might sound distasteful depending on the context this is stated.

It would be controversial for some in any case, did remind me of this fun comment

He should cast aside his Sanskaari pretensions and let it all hang free. :marchmellow:
That'd be a a good look compared to the facade that we see now.

If Baba Ramdev wasn't filthy rich he might have gone to Bigg Boss & might have had a lite Swami OM breakdown for sure:phehe:

I don't see anything wrong in his statement.

The same is true with Tasleema Nasrin, who said that it is the ONLY statement by him which is true.

But we are left wing activists who want total women independence and empowerment to decide what they want to wear, or even not to wear.

I think, the criticism upon his statement is coming from TRADITIONAL/Conservative Indian elements.

He probably did not mean any harm, however, it is not acceptable esp. coming from someone in his position.

Imagine someone with a female family member or a close friend being with Baba who would make such a comment thoughtlessly. Many are likely to beat him up ... Though in India, you would find people who would laugh at that and then touch his feet too.

Baba Ramdev is not a spiritual "saint". He is just a yoga teacher who teaches weird exercises. He even once said the same when he started "Patanjali". He hasn't given up material world entirely like a saint and is free to earn money and do business.

It's just foolish people who think he is bound to talk and behave like a Saint because he is called a "baba".

Folks it's scientific fact. Thanks to baba for opening our eyes to it.

All men even those who look like fat pigs want to marry pretty women so obviously there is a natural reproductive selection towards pretty females when no such selection exists for males so males will stay same while females will keep getting more attractive. Its obvious look around or look in the mirror you look like **** and probably don't deserve the girl you have in your life.

He has apologized:

Barely 72 hours after his comments on women sparked a furore, a chastened Yoga guru, Swami Ramdev has expressed regrets and apologised for his remarks.

Ramdev has sent an email to the effect to the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Chairperson Rupali Chakankar, in response to her missive of Friday demanding an explanation for his utterances within 72 hours.

Confirming the developments, the MSCW head informed that Ramdev has sent the response to her, expressing both regrets and tendering an apology, but also claiming that his remarks were allegedly twisted out of context.

"We have received his reply to our notice...However, if there are any more objections or complaints, we shall conduct a full-fledged probe and get the full video recording of the programme held last week," warned Chakankar, while speaking with IANS.
