Can't really think of anyone beyond Younis for Pakistan. But Younis was terrific with his slip catching. For NZ, Williamson was pretty good too. Otherwise Trent Boult. But they have many good fielders so hard to single out any.

For Greenbros, Shadab Khan is a very, very good fielder - all over the field. Gun arm too. Younis was a great slip catcher but beyond that his fielding wasn't extraordinary - reliable but not great. Paxtan used to bring him on as a substitute quite a lot.
Tattieboy Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 Clive Lloyd and Viv Richards were both better when young as cover point fielders and then as close fielders than Sobers . I would say Derek Randall was a better fielder than Stokes is . Solkar was basically picked as a fielder for India for their spin attack , best close in fielder I have seen gattaca 1

Slips, deep, around corner. First video from 3.50 onwards is about his fielding....slip catching and about searing returns from deep. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49QC1ZAFgCs Second video is a legside catch off of Gibbs on leg side round corner.

GeeGaw Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 (edited) For Australia I’m going with Andrew Symonds. Even Ponting called him one of the five best fielders he played with or against. He could cover a ton of ground, great hands and a gun arm. Total package. Edited December 17, 2022 by GeeGaw nevada and Majestic 2

NZ has always been a good fielding side, fleming was good in slips, correy anderson was excellent, remember the guy who ultimatly turned out to be a fixer lou vincent he was a great fielder but Guptill is there best. Boult is also exceptional. Pakistan Afridi was very good but best i can think off is Imran Nazir. Him and Shadab along with afridi are their top 3 in my opinion.

Symonds, Waugh Jnr, Ponting, S Smith, Clarke, Warner..some amazing fielders.
Vijy Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 Aus, SA, NZ, Zim have too many outstanding fielders special shout-out to Colin Bland who had a batting avg of nearly 50 and saved 20+ runs in the field.
