I haven't understood the NZ declaration though.  What have they gained by keeping that 1 wicket.  Should have let either Aijaz or Kane tonk a few. A potential 20 runs that time would have put the opposition more under pressure and for more time.

not really. shaheen is very good in first 1-2 spells and then runs out of gas.
