yes, it was good while it lasted. short career though. should have given higher priority to taking care of himself, instead of playing half-fit in IPLs, etc

Bumrah needs to hire someone like Steffan Jones now, don't need to loose hope

If he still has the will to bowl fast,he certainly can

Need some high performance bowling coach,who understands fast bowling without reducing his capabilities and effectiveness,he can certainly afford Jones

Yep. That's all he can do. Tests ipl. Maybe odd world cup.

Batsmen can bat for years. Fast bowlers like Bumrah eventually feel the pinch. Sinking feeling of never being able to bowl again must be weighing him down. Only Bumrah can answer how his current state is.  He may have to give up  on Tests focusing only on T20s.

That short run up & action was never going to be long term.  Akhtar called it way before.  Say whatever but Akhtar knows his injuries & fast bowling biomechanics.

That action is not a smoothly repeatable action at all. It is a miracle he has survived this long with that action in all three formats. Boult, Cummins, Rabada all have relatively traditional actions. They gather momentum through running.  Even Mohammad shami, Ishant for example. I bet Ishant can bowl an entire Test match even now.
