MechEng Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 Since first humans came from Africa, therefore everyone has an inherent African DNA. Having inherent African DNA means that everyone is inherently black. If black lives matter, then by that logic naturally all lives end up mattering.

Well indiscrimination in this day and age is bad... But Africa back then was in a pretty poor shape. Even Delhi Sultanate brought African Slaves in India. These guys were subjected to slavery coz they were disorganized & were there for the taking. Racism exists in every part of the world. Whatever that happened in Durban 2021 against Indians was also part of Brown racism. It kinda diluted the purpose of BLM. One should expect Racism exists everywhere. Depends on how you build your story, cover your victims, highlight their issues, historic recall that you have and grab the wave when its working for you. Same knee on Hindu neck will not get this response. Ofcourse on a completely different, BLM movement ended up being a sham and a scam exploiting many innocent right minded folks in the process.

True. All lives matter. But, historically in America, all lives - with the exception of Black lives - have always mattered. They're just making the point that their lives matter, not that others don't. But it is easy to see the confusion. Apparently the initial branding was Black Lives Matter Too. But many felt like it sounded like Black lives were an afterthought. So, they deleted the "too."
