He failed even when he was at peak

True. He did well in the one dangerous series against south africa in 2018. Deadly pitches. Kohli stood up there. I rate that series of his. Too bad we dint have any other batsmen to support. Shame. India should have won that series.

Only thing I can think of is kohli pujara rahane rohit are all lying about their ages.

Shami is no way 33. He is 40 clearly.

Rohit is 38 atleast.

Virat should be 38 too.

Rahane looks 37 38

Pujara looks 40 tbh.

That explains rapid decline.

Straight up lack of talent & hunger.  People saying Kohli..  He won't play a inns like that on a  Rajkot belter in 4th inns chasing a huge total like that coz he just can't.

Phuddu can't play that innings in his backyard :whack3:

How can the modern batsman lie about age when our previous decades middle order didn't seem to and its more difficult now

This knock deserves to be on the winning side. This is like pants gabba knock.

Not to mention his knock vs aus in 3rd test too. Fluke wicket by Lyon derailed a victory there too. Also vihari was batting injured.

Ash played well.

he did in Adelaide

now hes just washed up

It was a good effort on a rather easy pitch...  I would rate Dhawan's effort in Auckland chasing 400+ higher than that one in 2014 on a trickier pitch.

Both times we lost by 40 odd runs.

India's 4th inns adventures just died suddenly after those epic defeats... And we struggled with even 200 lol

Aussies whining about being bullied by old men in the members room

Well they always rave & repeat the BS about what happens on the field stays on the field, whilst the perennial whiners in Eng are also massive hypocrites themselves! Both cheats of the highest order.

They post date their dob. It's normal. I have seen it happen. Lot of seniors lie and say they are under 21 and play for reserve teams despite being 24 25.

Before playing under 18, lot of older players over 20 get registered for under age tournaments. The updated dob will be used henceforth.

So true you cannot declining that badly at 30-31 in case of Kohli. there is clear case of age fudging going on Indian cricket.

30-31 is supposed to be prime age for any batsman.

They were 4 down at 45. This knock is way better.

huh? Pant's was in SENA for an Indian.

Stokes has to replicate this in India to be comparable.

Deserves to win yes and might. But still a home knock with opposition lacking spinner on 5th day

True. But England was all but out after that run-out. Even now Aussies can easily win
