vvvslaxman Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Australia batted 48 overs more than England and took a lead of 15 runs. Smith regrets not taking bigger lead. lol

Nikola Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Amount of overs bowled by england will surely affect some % of match result cause they have to bowl again in 4th innings and they way england bat they won't give them longer rest time. If ali is injured it puts huge workload on 4 seamers who don't have age on their side.
AKane Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 This man "Jimmy"..... He has used up the new ball with the shine in every inning that he has played this series. Has he got a single wicket using the new ball in this series? I doubt it.

Having said that - they will have tonight off and then I think England will bat most of the day tomorrow so they should have another night tomorrow before the full 4th days play and that should be enough rest i.e 2 full nights.
SM2907 Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Good to see Australia pick up the Ashes. Cry babies England can keep crying behind their fake laughters
Frustrated Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 The last time Eng won an ashes series was in 2015. It has been almost a decade of Aus retaining it. The pattern has been quite familiar since 2015. Eng drawing the ashes series at home and getting humiliated(whitewashed) downunder everytime.

Eng will have to wait till 2027 to think about winning Ashes. That will be 12 years gap. It will be 2nd longest wait to win Ashes. Longest was 1987-2005 wait. Frustrated 1
nitinbwj Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Sunday's weather is awful. Rain all day.Another boring draw.

Lone Wolf Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Duckett barely leaves anything... Antithesis to be successful in England. Plays mostly on the backfoot too. Though has a solid defence. Likes of Kishan can learn a lot from his batting

vvvslaxman Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Apparently swing today is the lowest of the three days. So England is playing through the line freeily.
vvvslaxman Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Mitch Starc bowled 2 peaches back to back. Ball hit the length and swingsaway. Australia reviews
vvvslaxman Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Duckett gone. That was a terrific swinging ball.
vvvslaxman Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 This is Australia's best chance. Swinging Starc accidentally bowling these peaches.
vvvslaxman Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 What do we have here. Stokes is promoting himself up the order
