Shocking news! Tamim, BD ODI captain retired suddenly. He cried in front of the media. What exactly happened? I thought BD was doing well under him and qualified as #3 for WC.

Rahul Dravid must be relielved lol Guy did the most damage when he was the captain. Would have been worse had he done the same again when he is the Coach. Anyway he was a real stalwart for BD for whatever little they achieved. Infact the whole 2007 batch had decent career.

Was among the Big three of the 2007 WC Batch from Bangladesh who played a crucial hand in defeating India leading to an early exit. Shakib and Mushi the other two who are likely to call quits after the WC. 

 

Bangladesh have not found a replacement for any of their Big 3 so far..

The news appears sudden with the WC only a few months away but if he feels he can’t carry on any longer, then it is best to move on (unless this is an emotional reaction to something but he said that he had been thinking about it).
