Who Selected 124k Pacer- Unadkat.

I have faced 124K left-arm pacers bowling at 124k at Cross Maidan's and they r all skilled bcos of the angle they create and some of them get bounce too.

 

they do get Indian Batsman at club level, even state level OUT practically in all games.

 

BUT will they SUCCeed at International level.

 

will a 124K left am trundler who is not getting SWING too succeed. 

 

i saw him bowling so slow in west Indies that shardul looked 4 to 5K quicker than him and Siraj ( who was also unimpressive) looked a international bowler.

 

i was unimpressed with SIRAJ, SHARDUL and DISAPPOINTED with UNadkat.

 

i trust selectors would be seeing him bowl in domestic tournaments.  just bcos they have to pick a left armer - will they pick a 124k pacer? why not KHaleel or ARSHDEEP?

only a DRUNKARD will pick ukut ahead of Arshdeep/Khaleel( assuming they are decided to pick a left arm quick)

Arshdeep or Khaleel are not fit for test matches either. Infact Arshdeep is ok only for T20s.

 

There is no need to force pick a left arner if a good one is not there.

It was pathetic watching Unadkat and Shardul bowl in the 1st test. 

 

Slow-medium bowlers just putting the ball there gently. 

 

We have 20+    140 k+ pacers and we are picking these.

 

P.S .. Shardul is ok only as a 4th pacer.

In Tests ?

Khaleel won't be able to sustain himself for 5-6 overs, forget about lasting an entire day.

Arshdeep is slightly better but not a real upgrade.

Sushant Mishra, Mukesh Choudhary, Mohsin Khan or Yash Dayal are the better options, even provided they all are back to their prime fitness.

True, I am suprised people are choosing Unadkut, he is a pathetic bowler who has gained some brownie points by bullying the domestic batters. But in domestic cricket any bowler can be successful if they stick to old formula of line and length.....however come to international cricket and their lack of pace will be exposed in a disastrous way.

He was quite good tbh. As a 3rd or 4th option he is just fine. He keeps it tight. Has bounce. He can do the donkey work. Let's wait till he plays on a pace friendly pitch and then decide.

Do I want harshit or Sen? Ofcourse. But I would rather unda over Mukesh or thskur anyday.

 

Thakur should play only as number 8 if it's a seam friendly pitch.

yes, undercutter is like gagandeep singh, basant mohanty, joginder sharma, etc. all of whom have great domestic records, but were a cut below int'l class

Unadkat in both innings got the new ball.

 

Thakur did not even get the ball in I2. He got the ball at over 19 in I1

 

Unadkat >> Thakur  at least as per the powers that be in Indian team.

While I agree with you, Khaleel or Arshdeep cannot be playing test cricket. But selection of Jaidev is completely ridiculous. What exactly is his role.

 

He does not swing the new ball nor can he bowl with old ball.He was a wrong selection when he was 19 in 2011 over Umesh.

 

He is a wrong selection now too.

exactly sandeep sharma is more skilled than Unadkat. unadkat got ZERO wickets in the entire test where as he was given the new ball in both the innnings. if i can get arshdeep to bowl 8 overs in a day against West indies in 2 spells - i am quite confident that he can get 1wicket if not 2 wickets even on FLAT PATTA's. ARSH bowls some deadly wicket taking balls in his first 4 over spell.
